Loves – I love working with students over a long period of time and seeing them evolve as I continue to learn and evolve myself. The more I do it, the better it gets.
No medals, no competitions, no sponsor…..yet!
Hans begun jumping in 2012, at the time the idea of working full time in the skydiving industry never crossed his mind. However, fast forward a few years and in 2019, he made the ‘best decision of his life so far’.
He hung up the suit from a successful career in technical engineering and decided to create a life around working in the industry. So far, he is a tunnel instructor, working in skydiving as a camera flyer, free fly coach, LO & is also a senior rigger.

One of the other bits that Hans enjoys most about his ‘new career’ is the people he gets to meet and work with and really enjoys seeing them progress within the sport.
About two years ago, Hans was already looking for ways to somehow environmentally ‘compensate’ for the jumps he had done and ways of doing it moving forward. This thought-process was inspired by the great work that ToraTora have been doing about raising the awareness of skydiving’s environmental impact.
As VISONAIRi has evolved, Hans was struck by how closely his thoughts and ideas are aligned and the realisation that he could find a way to work with us and help grow the community has led to this partnership.
