About Adrian

So for someone that was given a tandem to try and overcome a pretty bad case of acrophobia (being scared of heights), got turned away by most DZ for being too heavy Adrian has a great story of how someone gets hooked on flying. (When we say too heavy, he has lost over 40kg).

Adrian started flying in 2002 and has now been a full time in the sport for the last 3 years. Along the journey Adrian has got pretty much all the British Skydiving and USPA rating and also his love for flying a canopy has led to him becoming an instructor for the Alter Ego Project.

I am not quite sure how he managed to fit it all in, but he is also a tunnel instructor and coach at the Hurricane Factory in Madrid.

Its true what we heard about Adrian last year from another LO, ‘he is probably one if the hardest working people in the sport’. When does he sleep?

Adrian's Thoughts...

Some of Adrian’s Thoughts

‘Now I am working mostly as LO, camera flyer, tunnel and canopy coach, it has made me realise how much I love coaching, more than anything really. I find the way of connection with the student very rewarding.’

‘How would I describe my coaching style? I try to focus mostly on the big picture and then the process of getting there. Breaking down each goal into smaller components, targeting areas that need improvement and preparing personal plan to improve them. Listening to the needs and goals of my students, and then working together towards the goal.”

‘We certainly shouldn’t forget that its about having fun and doing it in safe manner.’

I am super stoked to be part of VISIONAIRi line up as I totally support the ethos and cause of #1jump1tree. Really looking forward to having fun and flying with you all at soon.
