Mac has been committed to extreme sports from a young age, but when he discovered skydiving at Gap in France during the summer of 2012 things really changed. Five years later Mac quit his fancy production manager’s job and dedicated his life to skydiving ―his newfound passion.
Whether helping to organise at events like ToraTora, Burning Spring, Summer and Christmas boogies, or organising his own events with the Bananas crew, he can be found travelling around Europe, sharing the happiness found in the sky.
After the Bananas crew went their own ways, Mac spent a year flying with Babylon and he is now focusing on creating his own brand of events and flying, bringing all that he has learnt so far to those he is flying with.
For sure if you have or get to spend any time with Mac; one of the things that will stand out is his infectious smile, you will also be likely to use a lot of the sky, flying some big movement lines and enjoying the freedom and the speed.
‘I am mainly focused on movement in the air as the sky offers infinite freedom, that being said there is something great about taking people on their first tracking jump or progressing belly jumps as well.
‘…oh it’s also awesome do some vertical jump with tubes or whatever, I love it all.’
‘Skydiving is unique, there is no other sport I tried where you get to share a moment of such intensity, the same bubble with people and yet be so free.’
‘You can all be flying at over 200km/h, 50cm from each other’s faces, sharing the absolute present moment (without any mask). This is where trust, happiness and freedom meet to create very strong emotions and beautiful memories…how great is that?’
That’s why for me skydiving is all about sharing. Try one day to do a few jumps on your own and you will remember how important the others are.
