Jumps – 5000 between them (I think they have to be split equally between them, so about 2500 each, but you’ll have to ask who has more)
Loves – it’s clear, from the last 12 years these two have been in the sport, that they like a bit of FS, big way, FF, AFF, tunnel and, in the last few seasons, they have really started to love flying their canopies (anything to do with them being Sabre 3s now?!). They have had a huge role in growing the female accessibility and participation side of both tunnel-flying and skydiving in the UK and they created the now (in)famous and epic ‘Chick Jams’.
So back to the colour bit, Victoria and Rebecca are identical twins, but thankfully they have made it a bit easier for us all to distinguish between them, Vic usually wears blue and Bec red. There are other giveaways of course, but you will have to work those out when you’re flying with them.
Their skydiving began over Oxford in 2007 at Weston On The Green. Since then, they have represented team GB, gained multiple national medals in FS, 8 way and also won an FF medal in 2017. They are current World Record holders for Largest Ladies Sequential FS formation & have set up and organised multiple events around the UK and Europe. They are both AFF instructors and have somehow managed to fit all of this around two successful careers in management consulting and property management.
They have also played a key role in developing and mentoring many coaches and organising numerous scrambles and speed 6 events designed to assist newer skydivers in improving their skills, growing their network of peers and learning about competitive skydiving in a fun way. They are both also experienced FS 4way coaches.
2020 had seen them looking forward to stepping up the number of load organising events around the UK and Europe. COVID had other plans but they are lined up and ready to go for 2021.
Oh, then there is the tunnel side of things, they are both tunnel instructors and have competed and coached numerous FS 4way teams at the World Challenge and Revenge tunnel competitions. Vic is also a founding member and Director on the board of BISA (British Indoor Skydiving Association).
You are unlikely to find two more caring people who are able to lead you into this incredible sport and open the doors to all of its possibilities.
