Week 1, Skills Camp 28th June – 2nd July

A deposit of €450 is required to be paid by 29th February with remaining balance of €1125 paid by 1st May.

Description

This will be a dedicated week for refining the skills that you currently have and learning new ones from some of the best flyers and coaches about.

24 jumps: tailgate exits out of the incredible Mi8 Helicopter with outstanding views over Lake Balaton onto one of the biggest and best landing areas we have seen.
Loads will be pre manifested

We will do our best to keep you in the same groups for the week as this is a great way of seeing the progression in your flying (reviewed for safety and individual’s flying aims at the end of each day so we all get the most out the week).

Coaches will move every 2 days.

We will focus on:

Big way FS – 26 way sequential by the end of the week with the option to start with two groups at the start of the week if needed.

Angle/TR and Free flying – 4:1 coach ratio (there may be a day or two where your group is 3:1 or 5:1)

Wing suiting – 5:1 coach ratio

Canopy Coaching – 5:1 coach ratio (5 spaces per day)

AFF (2 spaces)

The Format

  • Arrive on Sunday 27th June for kit & docs, DZ registration, insurance checks and welcome dinner
  • Start jumping first thing Monday through to Friday sunset, we are aiming for 6 jumps a day. This will give us a bit of flexibility, so we have the ability to jump more if people want once we have done the 24 jumps that are included. Loads will be pre-manifested so if you miss your load, well you miss your load and lose the ticket.
  • Meals – breakfast and dinner are at the tower end of the DZ and lunch will be right near the manifest area. Before you go home breakfast Saturday morning is included.

Requirements

Big way FS – this is not the week to come and do big ways for the first time.  We ask you have done big ways before, are able to fly your slot and have a controlled and predictable break off.  If you do not have very much big way experience (less than 50 big way jumps) please also provide load organisers recommendation.

Free flying – we ask that you are able to hold sit all the way through a jump and be able to have a controlled and predictable break off.

Angle flying/TR – we ask that you are able to fly your quadrant & have a controlled, predictable break off.

WS – we ask that you have at least WS1

CP – we ask that you have at least 50 jumps on the canopy you will be flying.

AFF – no experience required, we will do ground school, 20 mins tunnel and level 1 in the UK before we go to Hungary where you will get to do L2-8 and 10 consolidation jumps gaining your BPA A License. You will then have a further 6 jumps to progress your skills and enjoy working towards your FS1. Only 2 Spaces so pretty exclusive.

Included In Price

  • Group Transfer from Budapest Airport (transfers outside group transfers can be arranged at an extra cost)
  • Two people sharing rooms with communal toilets & showers, there are a limited number of upgraded rooms with en-suite (+ €90). Accommodation is from Sunday – Friday night each week.
  • Meals will be from Sunday dinner through to Saturday breakfast each week, three meals a day Monday-Friday
  • 24 jumps from the incredible Mi8 Helicopter (per week)
